1. Not that simple.

The reading was mistaken as one isotope -which would have been 10 million times over normal - when it was in fact another isotope that was 100,000 times higher than normal.

So it's not just a matter of generically saying "radiation". They were erroneously referring to certain isotopes.

3. He is talking about 1000 mSv accumulated in 1 year. He cannot say the "radioactivity" is much

higher at the plant, because the dose depends on how long you stay there. A classic case of mSv vs mSv/h confusion. Who confuses distance with speed? Yet they do. This is misleading reporting.
