a majority of Americans, when asked specific questions, support liberal solutions to our fiscal problems (increase taxes on the rich, allow Bush's tax cuts to expire, etc), yet many of these same people claim to be conservatives. Sounds like Americans need some education on the differences between liberal/progressive and conservative.

4. President Obama was elected

exactly because the American people know that these solutions are the answer to improving our (not wall streets) economy. Sadly, President Obama has not HONESTLY, with great resolve, tried to enact any of these policies.
His "hero" (yuck), Reagan took his fight directly to the American people instead of "caving" to the opposition. Unfortunately, this strategy was (is) so successful that America got the worst economic policies available....
All of these things prove that we are pawns, serfs, etc..of the ruling elite.
Nationally, we must stand United for these solutions and demand them.

Limbaugh spent all those years telling working class Americans how horrible 'liberals' are. It worked. It really worked well. So now people remain liberal, they just call themselves conservative.

If legislation truly reflected the will of the people we would already have single payer health care and coast to coast high speed rail. So, at all costs, the powerful masters of America must continue to push the idea that, "America is a center right nation!" You will hear every Republican talking head repeat that on the Sunday Morning talk shows. Because once the people understand where their true interests lie the wealthy right wing powerful elites are totally fucked.

So, I ask you, please, do all you can do to inform the misinformed about the true nature of the Republican Party so we can pull ourselves out of this morass.
