1. awesome interview
thought provoking. And I'm glad Thomm says "Obamacare" sometimes. I think we all should, at all times, refer to it that way as a means of neutralizing the Repugnant party's derogatory slant from the term.

2. Good interview
Thom Hartmann is much better than his counterparts on MSNBC. He speaks calmly, doesn't yell, and allows his interviewee to speak without interruptions.

4. Perhaps but
at around 6 minutes into the video when Thom hit the asshole with FACTS regarding other countries' healthcare protection and the moron came back with the Amerikan exceptialism crap, I would have completely lost it. And if I hadn't lost it there I would have when Thom hit him with the greedy healthcare CEO salaries and he tried to refute with Bill Gates which was a false equivilency as Maher calls it - then I would've REALLY lost it.

They simply do not deserve any forum at all. They offer NOTHING in the way of honest discourse. They are whores for money people and nothing more.

6. He makes it look easy
I know I certainly don't have the temperament to dismantle these kind of meaningless talking points and get to the facts. It just pisses me off when I hear these answers that are meant only to give a vague warm and fuzzy feeling rather than offer evidence to back their side. I couldn't keep my cool. Gives me something to work towards I guess, lol.

7. And whore isn't the right word for this guy
At least in prostitution it's a straightforward 1 to 1 transaction. Here you have the wealthiest of the wealthy paying this guy to f*** us against our will, steal our money, and try to brainwash us into believing that it's the morally correct thing to do because we're somehow special. Prostitution is the more honest business I think.

3. Hartmann was really bright in this one ...
He literally wiped the floor with King and you could see how transparent the agenda is. To me, nothing that King said betrayed the meaning of his buzz words that support profit, wealth and inequality.

I have questions like: Freedom for whom? Liberty for whom? Choice for whom? The missing pieces stand-out glaringly in the repub effort to dismantle everything as quickly as possible so that corporations can completely rule this country without the need for a facade. It is like a military occupation.

8. Much to find outside the scope of your limited understanding, you shallow dogmatic SOB!
On our freedoms? Can you say TSA?
Class envy? As if anyone could pay me enough to want to be like you.

Ipecac, Iowan style.

Love your work Mr. Hartmann, but I'm not gonna be able to eat for at least a few hours. Rec'd.

9. Oh yes! Nothing like having the freedom to go bankrupt ...
just because we get sick. That is American exceptionalism at its worst.
Just another one of the perks of living in the wealthiest nation on earth.

11. Guys like King really don't get it.
Or he doesn't care about other people - he's a bit of a sociopath, yes?

12. King enjoys having the "freedom" to buy his own health insurance?
Then give up your taxpayer-provided Cadillac plan and go for it, Steve!

What a callous, pompous, lying ass.

Is he really that STUPID or that EVIL to make the claims he does? He pooh-poohs the number of medical bankruptcies. He lies about where the money for new drug research comes from. He is blind to the unethical and immoral business practices of the insurance profiteers.

13. What about my freedom and liberty NOT to provide profit to an insurance company.
That freedom is just unacceptable to conservatives because...

Profit > Freedom

End of story
