Of course, it takes a woman to make this rather obvious argument, but it is nice to hear it articulated against the "small government" hypocrites anyway.

6. It's always something I wonder about


why the same folks who argue against government intervention, especially in our health care, will be fine with government controlling what we can do with our bodies. Not just abortion, but end of life, euthanasia etc. My GYN told me that in the state of Ohio, I can't have a hysterectomy unless he says its for medical reasons. I can have my tubes tied, but not a full hysterectomy if I want one. Go figure.

It is crazy. I guess it is all about "values" to them. Their values. They get away with murder on the local and state levels because not enough attention is paid.
