I was a member of the democratic party for over 30 years.
In 2008 I saw the players had changed but the story remained the same.
So I joined the Green party last year to vote in the 2010 election a way of expressing my disappointment.
I saw the Green Party is hopelessly marginalized.
So I kept looking for progressive representation and discovered the Coffee Party.

1. Wake up Lady Liberty

Great video. Finally, a few of the internet elite are waking up to the fact that corporations and the ultra-wealthy now run this country using campaign contributions through lobbyists to influence politicians as well as feeding pablum/spin to the American people through the heavily controlled major media. We have become a plutocracy and will remain so until enough Americans are educated. The major wall street banks that we bailed out have grown double digits since the crash. Ours is a government of the corporation, by the corporation and for the corporation. Corporations have NO ethical standards.

3. Another reason for members of Congress

to start packing guns. Sooner or later the working poor, reduced to serving cocktails to Plutocrats in airport bars, will revolt against the tyranny of Government.

The same Plutocrats will do everything they can to cut funding to educational programs. Recent attempts by the Texas schools board to rewrite history is another indication of an attempt to promote their agenda through propaganda.

2. If it stays at the "people power" level then it'll be a good thing

I fear, however, that Ms. Park is eventually going to be another Ralph Nader, who split the Democratic vote and effectively gave the election to George Bush.

According to Thom Hartmann, more than twice the money spent in the general election cycle of 2008, ($1.5 billion) was spent in the supposedly lower profile recent mid terms, ($4 billion). Imagine the budgets for what's up and coming, and how that money might be better spent. Less hungry kids, an affordable visit to an actual doctor, homeless housed.

This decision is an assault on the notion of the democratic principle. If the highest court in the land does not understand the exponential voice the precedent gives a select few, they clearly have no comprehension of equal justice or any business holding those positions.
