This a video showing the deceptive ways army recruiters lie to snare young, uninformed people into the Military. One recruiter told me that the marine only came into the war theater after the war was over and only to secure and support the army.

2. Well well Recruiting duty huh? Let me tell you my experience with Recruiting duty from a wife point
of view. You get a Dear Soldier letter from the Army. It tells my dear husband he has been chosen to be a recruiter. My husband isn't a person that will sell a lie. Never could or would do it. He has his own standards. We were sitting in Germany waiting for his next assignement when we got this shock. He had to go to school first and pasted. Then they sent him to an area out west. Do you know there are hardly any people there in the first place. One of his schools had a graduation class of 5 people. Well he had to recruit and it was extremely difficult. My husband never lied to a recruit because he didn't want it on his hands if things didn't go right for them. He told him the great things about being in the military but he also told them the bad things that could happen. My husband almost had a nervous breakdown because of recruiting. His boss rode his back all the time. If he made what they call the mission he was ok. But if he made mission but didn't bring the right kind in he was a dog. I remember he was sent up to see the sgt major and there was this new recruit that just came in and right in front of the new recruit he shamed my husband. Well finally after a year he told the head man he wanted out. They have awards they earn. Allot of recruiters love earning these awards. My husband wasn't impressed with earning a badge, stars, then the ring. He had to sit with the boss and tell him that someoneelse help him get the recruits and he wouldn't lie. Finally after calling him names and making him feel like shit they would let him go. Mean while back at the recruiting station he told his boss that while he would wait for the orders he wanted to take care of all the administrative work and do all the stuff between their office and the higher headquarters. The boss said ok. By the time we had to leave his boss was so impressed because he was so organized that it left him free to do things besides the paper work. He told my husband he never had anyone as good as him and he had to tell him how wrong he was. He wanted him to stay. My husband said NO he wanted out. We finally got out but he left with all their respect. Remember folks not all recruiters will lie. The only thing I would tell you before you sign on the dotted line talk to others who have been in. They will tell you the truth.

America's top ranked prep schools. These schools prepare the next generation of the ruling elite for admission into the Ivy League. George W. Bush attended Phillips Exeter. You are unlikely to find a military recruiter on any of these campuses or within a country mile of one. Few if any of their graduates ever serve in the armed forces, but many of those graduates will be the ones to send to war those who do.
