Amy Goodman is a prime example and model of what real journalism is.

The major media outlets are filled with journalists who are egotistical celebrities, not defenders of democracy. What's more, the focus of major media is on what is popular and likable, not what is right. Meanwhile, most of the American public cares too much about justin bieber and other meaningless bs to even stop to think about their systematic wrongdoing.
