33. It is "free trade"
meaning that if you can't work for pennies an hour, you're fucked, everywhere in the world. The "free trade" agreements will keep destroying formerly prosperous nations unless we have protections like tariffs and Unions. "They" knew this from the start. What a better way to increase your wealth than to exploit all of the worlds workers?
It is a fucking tragedy that all of these elite, robber baron bastards aren't in (their privately owned) prisons.
It is going to get even worse unless WE ALL rise up against this tyranny....

35. dotymed, you are so right.
In the fall of 1985, I was watching a committee hearing on free trade. One of the members on the committee predicted that in the future we would be trading hamburgers with each other and those would be the only jobs.

That prediction has come true. Tossing hamburgers at each other is now a desired job. Used to be a bunch of teenagers handing out the hamburgers. Now people line up for those jobs an hope they speak the right language to get them.

25. At least they released the interview. The MSM gerbils in the U.S. would destroy such an interview
before it would see the light of day.

Then, they'd go looking around for some rich-ass bastard who would be portrayed as someone who is so smart, he is prevailing through this period of economic turmoil when the truth be known, he likely inherited a shitload of money from dad or granddad and increased the family fortune through corrupt practices.

20. K&R
"For we are opposed, around the world, by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence; in infiltration instead of invasion; on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice; on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations. Its preparations are concealed not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined, its dissenters are silenced, not praised; no expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the cold war, in short, with a wartime discipline no democracy would ever hope to wish to match." ~John F. Kennedy

23. It doesn't seem to be a Dublin accent. He drops his "h's".
I love this guy too. He reminds me of dear Mike Nolan here in Burbank. Only with less hair and less vulgar language.

What we are beginning to see now is the rise of the middle class, tired of stagnant wages, looking at the rich with their government guaranteed bonuses living like emperors taking to the streets in Europe.

Will it happen here?

FOXNEWS will suppress it.

31. Exactly!
I've watched this for most of my 50 years on Earth. Mostly I saw it evolve, or devolve in the life of my father. My father once worked at a union shop as a machinist producing the Crescent wrench. The company had been in my hometown forever and they were loyal to my hometown and the citizens were loyal to the company, you could work a career for a decent wage then retire comfortably. Then came the beancounters and the advice that the company (executives) could make so much more if they moved the company to where labor was cheaper. Well the company took up stakes and moved. My father ended up moving because there was no equivalent job. We moved to the Dallas area and he went to work for U.S. Steel/Oilwell. He worked there for a few years when it was bought by T. Boone Pickens for their oil holdings, he scrapped the steel division (didnt make him enough money) and my father was out of work again. At the end of my fathers life he was a janitor at a school district making next to nothing picking up kids turds from the bathroom floor with salad tongs, because you see, they thought it was infinitely funny to make the worthless janitor do that. I have a fair amount of rage at business people who offer nothing for our society but a way to milk it.

This guy gets it, clearly he gets it. We are all slaves to the professional class.

38. I had the feeling that the interviewer and interviewee knew each other and it
was sort of a send up on "Man in the street" type interviews.

Especially that comment about Michael Flatley at the end - it just didn't seem natural. I do think the interviewee expressed his honest opinions just that it wasn't as spontaneous as they tried to pretend.

49. Love the video...
As I was watching it I realized that the street he's on is only a 5 minute walk from where I live, that's Citadel Hill in the background. I've noticed a few new businesses open up here over the last six months with Irish in the business name, coffee shops and bars mostly. The accent plays very well here (Nova Scotia) as a lot of the accents from outlying areas are similar to his, though less dramatic.

Love to have more Irish folk in these parts.
