Interesting because despite the campaign to censor and demonize metal heavy music at the time, Pittsburgh came up with a common-sense comprise that works.

1. try harder
I get the feeling "hadron" will post just about anything for no particular rhyme or reason.

I have some surf videos I could post. Would anyone object?

2. Iron Maiden's harmless...
The most dangerous thing about the band is the drummer's recent conversion to fundamentalist Christianity. The music is sophisticated and the lyrics tend to cover history, film, literature, war, religion, and philosophy, which is far better than the drek that most people listen too....Save for a few early songs that deal with prostitution, the music is fine for children to listen to. You're more likely to find inappropriate subject matter on The Simpsons than on any Iron Maiden album. The only time they curse is during Bruce Dickinson's on-stage theatrics at live concerts. I'd let my 7 year-old brother listen to the band in a heartbeat, though I'd never take him to a concert because I don't want him around drugs, alcohol, and moshing.

How do I notice? I listen to them all the fucking time. :D

Interestingly for such an old band, I'm 27 (and thus their first album predates my birth by 3 years) and when I went to see them perform in Ottawa, the crowd skewed slightly younger than I am, though there were a good number of older people there too.
