Even an a Teabagger should 'get it'. But, of course they will defend it because he's 'one of them' and in their pocket.

22. Everything they have done
since the Bush v Gore decision has been damning. As long as the narrative is guided and nurtured by Fox News it doesn't seem to matter what a Republican does.

5. This should go viral.
This was the first time I saw Alito since the confirmation hearings, and man did he look guilty. He knew he got caught.

8. I sense a strongly worded letter coming !
maybe even followed by a successfully ignored subpoena, and then of course an apology for both, with a pledge to look forward, not at the past. ( Cynical and pessimistic? Who me? nah, just an observer of historical precedent)

11. No one. That's the whole point.
Having lifetime appointments (not elections) was supposed to "free" them from political partisanship. Having to be selected by the president and confirmed by the Senate was also supposed to remove the taint of political favoritism. Obviously, in this case, those things failed.

The only recourse is impeachment, and I'm not sure how that happens, only that unless some democrats get a backbone it is unlikely to.

10. Red ties. Fucking red ties. I'll never wear a read tie.
Frankly, that mainly comes from the "power tie" era - only assholes wore them back then. Now it is a not-too-subtle show of allegiance to the fascists - only assholes wear them now.

27. The justice is wrong whether he is Scalia or Earl Warren or Oliver Wendel Holmes.
Biden is wrong. So would be the President, is and/or will be W, would have been Marcus Aurelius. Situational ethics are a slipperry freaking slope.

26. Nope. What ever truth he writes is measured or accidental, like Beck, Palin, O'Reilly.
After knowing how married to the banking industry Biden is (check out how often your credit card offers come from Delaware) and about his plagiarism problems when he ran against Clinton for nomination, how very often he supported W in the assault on our rights with Patriot Act and Homeland Security, voted with the crowd regarding so much deregulation in securities 'industry',I think he's only a very few degrees better than Lieberman.

30. Seriously,
Is this America's "darkest political hour?"
Have the masses ever felt as dispossessed as we do currently?
Hopefully, a historian can explain...

25. Impeach
Impeach Justices Roberts, Thomas and Scalia while you're at it. Find some way.

Oh, wait. The Dems wanted to take "the high road" and not do any of the dirty crap the Pukes made their stock in trade during the Clinton administration. Suckers fell for that BS hook, line and sinker.

Exclusive: Supreme Court Justice Sam Alito Dismisses His Profligate Right-Wing Fundraising As ‘Not Important’

Apparently, Alito is a regular benefactor for highly political conservative fundraisers. Last year, he headlined the fundraising dinner for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) — the same corporate front that funded the rise of Republican dirty trickster James O’Keefe and anti-masturbation activist Christine O’Donnell. According to the sponsorship levels for the event, Alito helped ISI raise $70,000 or more.

Documents exposed by ThinkProgress last month revealed that Justice Scalia and Justice Thomas have also attended secret political fundraisers. We published a memo detailing fundraising events, organized by oil billionaires David and Charles Koch, to fund Republican campaigns, judicial elections, and groups running ads in the 2010 midterm election. The fundraisers, attended by some of the nation’s wealthiest bankers, industrialists, and other executives, help fund much of the conservative infrastructure. The memo stated the Thomas and Alito were past participants of the Koch fundraisers.

Health Insurance, Banking, Oil Industries Met With Koch, Chamber, Glenn Beck To Plot 2010 Election

In 2006, Koch Industries owner Charles Koch revealed to the Wall Street Journal’s Stephen Moore that he coordinates the funding of the conservative infrastructure of front groups, political campaigns, think tanks, media outlets and other anti-government efforts through a twice annual meeting of wealthy right-wing donors. He also confided to Moore, who is funded through several of Koch’s ventures, that his true goal is to strengthen the “culture of prosperity” by eliminating “90%” of all laws and government regulations.
