The Army's suicide rate is now double the national average and while it's clear the stress of nine years of war contributes to the problem, as Don Teague reports, it's not the only cause.

Came back from Afghanistan a few months ago and fell into depression...if it weren't for a few friends kicking down my door (literally) and dragging me off to live with them, I wouldn't be here.

War sucks---it fucks people up. Why aren't we DONE with this shit yet?! :cry:

2. I wish we were.

War is destructive. Men love it. It makes some 'heroes'. But even some women have cheerleaded the various causes to go out and kill and defeat enemy tribes.
