Phil's action is about as hypocritical as Captain Renault's but not nearly as funny.

My email to Phil:

You suspended me too.

Until Keith Olbermann is reinstated, I will not watch MSNBC (something that is normally part of my nightly ritual). This is ridiculous. Keith obviously supports democratic candidates as is evidenced by the format of his show and the evening programming of MSNBC has actively sought out like minded viewers. Now you suspend him for acting on those same values? Your action reminds me of this scene from Casablanca in which Captain Renault shuts down Rick's Café:

Rick: How can you close me up? On what grounds?
Captain Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!

Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Captain Renault: Oh, thank you very much.

Captain Renault: Everybody out at once!

In case you don't get the comparison, you are Captain Renault and Keith is Rick and you come off even more ridiculous and hypocritical.

Sincerely,

Steven J. Vincent
Former Faithful MSNBC Viewer

1. Call for the Firing of Phil Griffin
That will send a message to MSNBC, the so-called "liberal" media network.
We already signed a petition to re-instate Keith, we are organizing a boycott, there's even the possibility we'll hold a protest outside MSNBC.
Oh, and we might get a petition to get Phil Griffin fired too. This is not the first time this moron has attacked liberals who are helping his own network he's supposedly in charge of.
I expect to see Keith Olbermann hosting his show tonight, Monday by the VERY latest,
