He doesn't like Cenk because Cenk doesn't kiss democrats ass. To people like him you eighter support this president and his party each and every time or you're an asshole.

29. +1 - I agree
I've never heard a true or decent argument from someone that doesn't like Cenk. Most of the time they've just heard small snippets from him that are out of context - or a few things they don't like. I don't agree with Cenk 100% of the time, but that's okay. He's one out of just a handful of people that are bringing truth to the media. TYT is growing so fast it's making my head spin. WTG, Cenk.

16. TYT's web show Suffers when he Leaves to MSNBC usually.
Just my personal experience....their live webcast isn't as good when Cenk is away.

They've tried to rectify this by having Cenk Skype in each day while in New York but its definitely not hte same since usually they have Ana Kasparian take over as lead host. Ana is good at her gossip hour but anything beyond this is not advised. I think the TYT crew have realized this and is probably why they've been having Ben Mankowitz take over as head host/anchor...its an improvement for sure. Surprisingly the chemistry between Ana and Ben is fun to watch.

It's nice to see Cenk and TYT becoming more recognized. Cenk even anounced they are going to be building a new set! The money is rolling in!

It seems that MSNBC is starting to want Cenk more and more and as this happens the main TYT brand will begin to decline..which is a shame. I think the only way to save it (in its current form) is if Cenk decides to move the entire program to the East Coast but i doubt Ana, Ben, Jesus, and Jarar will trek the permanent distance with him. Since that will never happen my guess is Ben M. will probably become a more permanent staple on TYT if Cenk's MSNBC career continues to grow.

So i guess we wont be seeing Cenk in TYT's set until December :( I just despise their Skype method...Cenk takes a backseat and let whoever is hosting do most of the talking. Cenk is best when he is at the head.

Well, congratz nonetheless.

17. TYT is not going away
It's Cenk's baby and we're pretty much all willing to move assuming something comes up to make that necessary. We know the Skype situation isn't ideal but it's temporary (and that might improve, stay tuned).

At any rate, thanks for the honest feedback.

Maybe he'll be next to get his own time slot?

38. Easily the Most Passionate Standout on MSNBC -- Others have been less and got their own Show
The only thing that might prevent Cenk is that he is extremely passionate and doesnt hold back on his beliefs...remember, it's all about access and why anchors tend to avoid asking tough questions....Cenk seems to not care and want to call people out even if it risks alienating corporate-sellout guests from coming onto his show (such as the President, himself)....however, if MSNBC's ratings for Cenk are good throughout November while he is being himself then they may take that risk and give him his deserved slot.

So far, Cenk's last attempt for a slot @10PM failed and went to O'Donnell and i have to say, i am really enjoying Lawrence....MSNBC's primetime 8-11pm slot is very good. I just wish Cenk woudl get the 7pm but likely Tweety will resist and give 5pm only.

22. [K & R] Excellent news!
I hope there will be an Alan Grayson tribute sometime. (Release the Grayson!)

Looks like Cenk's on the track of frequent subbing before getting an hour of his own, similar to Lawrence O'Donnell earlier. That's great~I love Cenk~but I'd really like to see MSNBC do something else. They should scrap Morning Joe in favor of a 6-9am EST Young Turks show, which, I'm sure, would draw much higher ratings.

24. Put Cenk in the 7PM slot that Chris Mattews has
Keep Chris in the 5pm slot speculating about Palin for the next two years.

37. I guess Ben M. will take over as TYT's new Permanent Anchor..He's a Good Choice.
Assuming Cenk gets a permanent stay on MSNBC (likely the 5pm slot) i assume Ben Menkiwicz will become TYT's new Lead. One thing i liked was having Ana co-anchor alongside Ben. I know Ana doesnt know much about politics but for the 3 hour duration of the show i think maybe 1-hour is typical Ana hour, and another 30mins should be with Ben/Ana doing general politics and then the remaining 1.5 hours can be Ben doing the full out politics on his own.
