* an idea... I typically start to load one clip in a new window and pause it, then start to load another clip in a window and pause it... etc - until I have all the clips loading - and I can come back to watch when they are all in the cache. That way, if a clip goes away in the meantime, you'll still have the complete show - and they don't stutter from downloading.

1. Good idea, Tomm...

I use the YouTube Downloader (free software - Google it), which has a website, but can also be found on Download.com - I usually download the show before it gets taken down. Also Replay Media Catcher 4 is a great tool to download vids (it costs around 50 bucks, but you can downlaod and convert vids from many sites other than just YouTube)

I just tend not to download anything. Just one of those fuzzy lines for me. If a site is feeding the footage from the web, so be it, but then actually downloading the video means I'm possessing the video now. But really great to know - thanks - especially for making it easier to do text transcripting of the information from videos for educational use, and for clarifying what is said by newsmakers, etc. Very cool.

11. It's amazing, P.J. used to actually be funny

In this ep he just comes across as a jerk. I like the moment right before New Rules when Maher and Sorkin basically shrug at one another like, "how do you reason with people this dumb?"

2. I have to say, whenever P.J. is on, he tries to steal attention constantly with stale humor

and brings the show down about fifteen notches. Maher seriously needs to start keeping duds like him off the air or he risks losing his own momentum. The show was palpably less entertaining single-handedly due to him.

Agreed that PJ's attempts at humor were sh*t and his failure to stand by his pro-Capitalista quote was disappointing. He was visibly shrinking during the discussion.
