The right-wingers are angry over Ed Schultz's speech at last weekend's One Nation Working Together Rally, but nobody's quite sure what upset them. Was it his defense of the middle class? His fact-based rhetoric? Take a look for yourself and see if you can find anything that warrants anger.

1. They are PISSED we beat them to the punch.

We have gone from liberals, to moonbats, to unamerican, to dangerous. They were all geared up to declare us evil, and we stole their thunder.

Human suffering IS evil. Needless human suffering, or that you could address, and dont, is violence. We need to call things by their right names.

The right wing, says that gov must NOT address the needs of its constituents. To do so, is sure proof of pandering for votes. FUCK THEM. So let Wall street needs be the ones met. And lobbyists. Not citizens. That makes me ready to fight.

2. I recall toward the end of his speech he said something negative about the prior

"meeting in Washington". Can't remember exactly what it was & can't play the video right now. It was a very short comparison of the one in Aug. & the one Sat. and how diverse the crowd was at "OUR" rally".

I agree with everything Ed says and even my husband likes his spunk. He can go over the top sometimes, but he doesn't make shit up. We like that. It's always about the truth.

9. Last night on Ed's show

Ron Christie went bonkers over Ed calling the wingnuts "evil". As noted by other posters, he stole their "sacred" word. It needs to be repeated over and over and that speech's "evil" segment should go viral.

I wanted so much to attend but for health reasons could not.

So much is at stake here; and it IS about numbers; because that is how this country chooses its leaders...by numbers.

Evil is exactly the right word; for these are the folks foretold, bringing fascism; wrapped in a flag and waving a cross.

11. I was there

My husband and I drove to DC from Chicago the day before. The enthusiasm and determination and LOVE in the crowd was electrifying. I hope we can keep it going and building until the November elections. It was truly inspiring.
