4. Yep, I have a really hard time drumming up much sympathy

for the mega wealthy. In fact, it's rather audacious that any of them would complain publicly. Some young Wall Street brat recently confronted Obama at a town hall meeting whining about being vilified. Couldn't believe. It's a wonder the crowd didn't pounce on him and rip him to shreds. It's sickening.

7. just to note: Ben Stein was not an economist for Nixon

His father, Herbert Stein, was (Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, the post currently held by Austan Goolsbee)

Ben Stein was a junior staff speechwriter and lawyer for Nixon. He has a BA in economics, but that doesn't make one an "economist", except of the worst sort.
