ACORN Smear Artist James O’Keefe Unwittingly Admits He’s A Hack: What I Do Is ‘The Nadir Of Morality’

.............................

Despite his dubious ethics — he pled guilty in May to entering federal property under false pretenses — O’Keefe maintains that he is a legitimate journalist. And in a recent speech at Mount St. Mary’s University, O’Keefe tried to vouch for the morality of his work, but unwittingly undermined his point:

O’KEEFE: I can’t get to the point where they finally admit to me that I’ve gone too far. And then they say that this is immoral. How is this immoral? Beloch has said that salaried — shouldn’t public servants should be perpetually watched, be kept under control, be suspicious? I think this is the nadir of morality. I think this is the most moral thing you could possibly do.

Watch it:

Nadir, of course, means “the lowest point.” What O’Keefe probably meant to say is “zenith,” which means “highest.”

4. Well, he certainly made an inferior point.
So 'nadir' is the correct term for his speech as well as his 'career.'

5. If his actions were not targeted for his biases.
to achieve some goal that is not based on morals.

And his actions were not hypocritical using methods that manufacture something against a group. He might have a point.

Without listening to the clip, he is probably really saying.

He thinks some things are bad, and because of that, he can do anything because he thinks them bad. So his morality is based on his judgement of some organization allowing him to do anything he can think of to try and stop them.

He is probably weighing right and wrong, lesser evil type thought, but from imperfect justice based on his bias.

7. Why would "Mount St. Mary's" be offering a speech by this creep -- ???
Rather his behavior is something we should all be watching and suspicious of --

Watergate -- continues on --

9. To be fair . . .
He's just not very effective as a speaker. If you listen to his cadences, the "nadir" (which he mispronounces) comment seems to relate to public servants' behavior, while the "most moral" remark refers to his actions in outing such evildoers.

So he didn't misspeak so much as speak badly. He's still a dickwad.
