Since his 'oliness the Chimp aka Commander AWOL drew the analogy I guess this becomes appropriate again. The Youtube'r had the foresight to post this July 2nd adding this note : This video is NOT intended to be anti-American. I have 2 Grandfathers and an Uncle buried at Arlington National Cemetery and I love my country. Loving your country has absolutely NOTHING to with loving your government. Ignorant Presidents oblivious to history are doomed to repeat history's mistakes.

Too bad "Iraq" is two syllables and "Viet Nam" is three. OTher than that, this song is just as appropriate today as it was 40 years ago.

I loved Country Joe and the Fish as a youth, only I didn't discover them until around 1970, and their "time" was a couple of years before that.

Barry Melton became a lawyer in Frisco and a good deal of the original group still gets together for mini tours now and then....
