1. It doesn't grow the debt because it throws the economy into a tailspin you fucking idiot
It grows the debt because there is less money coming in.

2. It sounded like he had two sets of talking points in front of him...
...and got confused as to which one he was supposed to be reading off of.

First he says tax cuts will increase the debt;
Then he says letting them expire will result in huge tax increase (really? These tax cuts were temporary anyway);
Then he says this will throw the economy into a "tailspin."

:crazy:

Where was this guy 10 years ago when Repubs cut taxes on the wealthy and increased spending ala two wars?

What happened? Huge deficits, economic collapse, and rising unemployment.

And he thinks we want more of this? :crazy:

3. Rich good looking boys and girls are who get elected to congress now.
Brains, honesty, dedication have nothing to do with it.

The House and the Senate have become a retirement home for the rich and powerful.

4. Republican insanity
Lowering revenue raises revenue>
They want more deregulation. We've seen this before and the result was/is an economic meltdown close to a disaster. If it wasn't for decisive action by the Obama Administration and Democrats in Congress the situation would have been much worse. And a worse situation makes good talking points for Repubes.

7. he says tax cuts grow the debt only if you let them expire.
How about if we don't tax rich people at all? It would be only fair, since they pay all the rest of our salaries, right? And by this guy's logic letting the rich keep all their money- or maybe even giving them a negative income tax- should have us out of the red in no time!
