I wonder if some asshole didn't set him up as a candidate as a joke. I agree, he doesn't seem mean spirited at all, and does appear to have a learning disability of some type. If someone did do this as a joke at his expense, they are absolute scum to use him in this way. That said, he does seem to have a better platform to run on that most republican candidates these days.
