1. Which tax cuts specifically does Sen. Bayh want extended?
Some of the cuts, such as the "death tax" will probably be made permanent. But the taxes on the top 2% of Americans should definitely go back to 36% (or 39.6% for singles with no dependents making over $250,000/yr).

2. I was going to ask why inheritance tax would be extended
but then it occurred to me that most congress critters are multi millionaires and as such would not vote to in any way hurt themselves.

14. Generally speaking, Democrats do not follow the lead
of Republicans by calling the inheritance tax the "death tax". And most of us do want the inheritance tax restored.

4. Whaa!!??? They are already paying 16-20% now.
Really. The top earners in the country pay less in FED income tax than most people here. As a percentage of total net income. Geez!!

Do you ever ever hear Hannity or O' Lielly tell you HOW much they ACTUALLY pay in Federal taxes? NO.Because its about 16-20% I gaureeeeunteee you!

Anytime I hear a conservative moaning about how outrageous their taxes are I think they are lying or they are stupid.

6. I would rather have Republican rule than Democrats ruling like Republicans.
I mean it. If we have to lose to get rid of people like Evan Bayh then so be it. He and his ilk are why people say there is no difference between the two parties. He gives Democrats a bad name.

what about the DEFICITS? I think what will happen the Democrats will cave in and give up the tax increases in order to extend unemployment. That's what this dog and pony show is all about.
