7. Maybe it's just one of those slips...
The camera likes this guy, as they say... and he nervously may wish to follow Cenk's footsteps.

You put some great stuff up here, Joanne98! :hi:

4. He failed to mention that although Cenk beat CNN, and it's not uncommon these days for MSNBC to
beat CNN, he lost to Fox News. I would not call finishing in second place doing that well. When he beats the evil empire at Fox News then we can talk.

9. Fox has an unfair advantage in that they are included in the standard package unlike MSNBC
I called DirecTV and told them to take Fox out of my package because I pay to have sewage pumped out of my house, not into it. They told me that they couldn't take Fox out because it was part of the basic service. I then told them to cancle my basic service.

11. That varies depending upon the cable or satellite company.
The latest figures on numbers of subscribers list CNN at 101 million, Fox News at 98.4 million, and MSNBC at 95.9 million. That means that Fox's subscriber total is approximately 3% higher than MSNBC's total, yet FNC routinely beats MSNBC in the ratings by better than 2-1. So that small difference in subscribers between the two networks is insignificant and has little bearing upon Fox's ratings lead. You are going to have to come up with another excuse.

10. FOX does so well because it's the only game in town for the nuts
All the smart and more moderate people watch all the other networks who are competing against one another and not FOX. If there was ten networks like FOX then FOX would be getting their ass kicked by a lot of moderate and even liberal networks.

12. I doubt it. All of the cable news networks are owned by big corporations and toe the corporate line.
MSNBC has KO and Maddow, but they also have Joe Scarborough of dead intern fame, and their daytime lineup is anything but progressive. And then you have CNN which tries to out Fox Fox.
