In the '60's the top tax bracket was around 90%. That is for the Billionaires. They still made billions. Making the "top tax rate" end at $250,000 ? That is the epitome of Feudalism. Get real. Lets take our government back. Fuck the top measly 5%. Lets fucking force "our" government to work for the majority 95% who own less than 2% of the wealth. FAIR TRADE not FREE TRADE. Rebuild a manufacturing base. A "Service Economy" can not be anything but a Third World economy with the worlds largest Military Arsenal.

6. The whole premise for the tax cut was bullshit from the beginning

The premise for the tax cut was based on supply-side economic pseudo theories. Those theories were rejected by the vast majority of economists back when Raygun came up with that nonsense. The very study that Shrub commissioned proved supply-side was bullshit, yet they cut taxes on the rich AGAIN. However, somehow Democrats have bought into this notion that raising taxes (or more accurately removing unwarranted and foolish tax cuts) is the kiss of death politically.
