What can you say to this weird but consistently Republican attitude that the free market means never having to pay when you've f&%#ed up? Think Progress has the whole exchange.

• BP materially mislead the Coast Guard on emergency response needed.
  
• BP has had a string of pipeline blow outs in Alaska.
  

I think BP should pay -- and their management could do with some incarceration.
