11. Screw Congress
The only way to change anything in this world is to boycott corporations. Everyone can grow a garden for food, everyone can learn to sew clothes. If all the citizens in the United States didnt buy a single thing from the economy, didnt show up to work, and didnt buy any gas for one week we could have any demands met for us on a silver plater once revunue went to shit. $$$$$$$$$$ is all these people see.

3. Good for her.
BTW, have they called any Gulf shrimpers or fishermen to testify at this committee?

(My other thought is, Hayward actually LOOKS like the cat in that video.)

4. That made me cry. I feel so bad for the people on the Gulf coast whose lives
have been devastated because of this. To see this lady who is a victim of that lying weasel manhandled and taken out of there is very disturbing. She is right - Hayward should be in jail for what he did.

8. This is not how a government of the people, for the people, and by the people behaves...
Edited on Thu Jun-17-10 06:28 PM by liberation
... this is something else.

Every elected representative, every aide, every single of those pigs... everyone drawing a public salary in that room works for the woman they were beating down, not for the asshole giving his PR spiel.

We pay taxes and we get beaten down, we have to do as we told by the people who supposedly work for us. We are in no other terms paying to be abused and controlled. Enjoy the new gentler and kinder fascism for the XXI century...

China executed two people Tuesday for their roles in a tainted milk powder scandal in which at least six children died and more than 300,000 became sick.

Zhang Yujun was executed for endangering public safety and Geng Jinping was executed for producing and selling toxic food, according to the official Xinhua News Agency.

Is the criminal destruction and devastation wrought by BP any less than that which these two committed?
