is there any place on the net where you can watch full episodes without violating copyright laws?

I can only enjoy Bill on Saturdays, as the youtubes are removed by Sunday.

they are posted at HBO.com after the fact - older episodes you can find there

but they way they have their files set up, they are literally unwatchable by most folks with relatively modest connections to the internet - or many Apple computers which choke and stumble all over their video files - so much that it is embarrassing to say I have an older top of the line Apple and it can't run video.
