I realize a lot of people at DU are allergic to Beck and O'Reilly. Put them on a set together and the shock may be too much! However, this clip is a must see.

As we all know, cry-on-demand political evangelist 'The Right Reverend' Beck wears his principles on his sleeve. His overriding principle, maximization of his personal wealth, somehow didn't make the list. Not too surprising, he isn't interested in sharing it with the Beckerheads and they are too dense to figure it out without some help. You've probably heard Glenn has been steering the Beckerheads to the sham investment gold merchant Goldline. Anyone dumb enough to believe his paranoid crackpot rantings is sure to be fertile ground for scamsters like Goldline. Goldline is making a fortune vacuuming the wallets of the Beckerheads.

Democrat Anthony Weiner is exposing Goldline for the crap investment they are. So how does Beck respond? Oh, by making bad wiener jokes (Weiner... wiener... get it?) and dreaming up a wild-ass conspiracy theory leading to the White House. Boy, is it a doozy! Can the poor boy grow more paranoid?

A more accurate term would be "mark" or "sucker".

2. They all do it with such sleazy slimy rhetorical tactics

I heard Mark Levin the other night -- he lowered his voice, making one of his paranoid points about the end of the world, and then, maintaining the same scuzzy tone, he slithered right into the Goldline pitch. Beck does this as well. It totally gave me the creeps.

4. Who wins in a Levin versus Beck insanity contest?

I get Levin on XM. I haven't listened to him in a while because his whiny nails-against-the-chalk-board voice combined with his kindergarten namecalling are just too much to bear.

I'd probably give the edge to cry-on-demand Beck because he's more adept at whipping himself up into a lather over some paranoid delusion he wraps into a conspiracy theory. As Lewis Black noted, Beck has Nazi Tourettes. Levin's particular dementia leads to uncontrollable screaming fits where he comes completely unglued at the mere mention of a liberal's name.

It speaks volumes of conservatives that these two are the far right's opinion leaders.

In fact, I saw them running a 'what a great company we are' PR ad on Fox News this afternoon to polish the golden apple.
