1. Looks like he's our Under Secretary of Science

in the Dept of Energy since about a year ago.

I was relieved to hear him talk frankly and seriously about the existence and threat of anthropogenic global warming, which starts at about 22 mins. Plus, his job at BP was strategy in renewables.

Impressive education, too. Hopefully this guy is pushing alternative energy to Obama.
