1. There is no impetus for sweeping change from this administration
that much is obvious, just fix things around the edges and hope for the best.

2. Seems eminent
Someone stands to profit from crashing the system. As always follow the money.

3. Cabinet of Centrism
Centrism doesn't get meaningful change; solidly left-leaning policies do. Legislative history bears this out.

Greedy sociopaths have done (and continue to do) serious harm to the republic and Obama blathers on about "bipartisanship". It's getting really old, fast.

4. Barrack
will be a one term duck. We'll get stuck with another neocon. We're in a lot of trouble again.

5. I'm going to get into big trouble here on DU for what I am going to say,
but it's the truth, so I am going to say it.

He has horrible judgment (and taste) with regard to women. He lied to his wife, his children, the voters and the world. He has been despicable and untrustworthy in his personal life.

But, the only candidate who ran in either the Republican or Democratic presidential primaries who understood economics was John Edwards.

He majored in business, mill management in college, if I recall correctly. I think we can assume therefore that he took some elementary economics and management courses. He warned us that sitting down with big insurance was the wrong thing to do. He warned about the hedge funds -- probably because he actually worked for one and knew first-hand what was going on.

He warned about the outsourcing of jobs. Remember his ad in front of the closed factory where his parents had worked?

He warned about Two Americas.

He was very, very wrong about his treatment of his wife and family and his choice of women. But he was very, very, very right about the economy. I wish he had better character. Because he would have known what to do.

We voted for the nice guy and look what we got.

6. If we could switch right now, with Edwards assuming the Presidency,
and Obama going back to....?...I would do it in a second.

7. I'm not sure I would go that far, but thanks.
Wish we had an acceptable candidate who knew something about economics.

I'm not among those who criticize Obama's performance on the Gulf oil spill. But in just about every area outside the Gulf spill and giving great speeches, Obama has utterly disappointed me.

We shall see how he handles Korea. That will be the biggest challenge of his administration.

8. I think Little Kim may launch; however, I still think immigration
reform will be his real test. The Arizona Fix is just starting. It's a very passionate issue. I think Obama may try to push it down the road as he gives several gut-wrenching speeches signifying nothing. Have a good day, JD.

9. Geithner would have been the first guy to get the axe if I'd been in O's shoes.
And I'd have made sure that at no time was he anywhere within 500 miles of DC.

11. Go for it
Maybe you can fuck some sense into him. Maybe that would take his mind off of screwing the rest of us.
