(I think you already know this, but just in case)

TYT is currently on M-F from 4-7pm Pacific Time. The first hour two hours are news/politics/commentary (etc.) and the third hour is social commentary along with lighter fare (sports, pop culture and so on). The YouTube channels just show you very small excerpts from a much longer show. In other words, there are a number of topics covered on each show, including the ones you mentioned, and almost always more than anything you'd see on the MSM. This is partly (but not even close to completely) because the most popular commentary shows are only an hour, and significantly shorter if you subtract their long commercial breaks.

In fact if you subtract the commercial breaks from your favorite progressive radio shows, you'll find a '3 hour show' ends up being around 111 minutes. The first 2 hours of TYT alone - breaks subtracted - almost match that, but again, there's a third hour plus a members only show.

The point is we cover a whole lot and then some, but I'd point out that often times the most substantive stories and interviews get the fewest views. Now, unlike many in the MSM, we don't stop doing them, but we also have entertaining segments like the interview above. Besides (unlike the story about how Kim Kardashian likes Fox News), exposing the ignorance on the right IS a relevant, substantive topic. Ignoring them (see Rush Limbaugh in the 90's) doesn't work, it lets their BS go unchallenged!

Does she understand that reviewers see movies before they are released to the public?
I can't believe she writes for a newspaper and doesn't know that there are special advanced screenings for reviewers, and that in some cases reviewers receive advance screening copies on DVD.
