This is my final project for Sound Image, my audio drama class at NYU. I recently saw a new GO ARMY spot and decided to use it as the basis for my final project. In my version, I took the format of the ad, which used the U.S. Soldier's Creed, and altered it to give what I believe is a more honest portrayal of the current U.S. Army experience, which is very different from the fun action-filled portrayal in the GO ARMY advertisements.

I do wonder though, if Americans finally get a backbone and organize. If they take to the streets in massive numbers, in peaceful protest. Will our soldiers, if ordered, shoot us down? I am pretty sure our "serve and protect", police force will, but I wonder if these soldiers will? They have been (lied into) fighting wars for corporate domination in the ME, will they participate in , if ordered to, mass killing of American citizens? I hope not.

Some of them won't, but enough of them will. I bet a lot of those oath guys will as long as you tell them the protestors are a bunch of Commies.
