Unbelievable. No, you don't see them shoot anything, but you hear the dog scream until they silence it. Disgusting! The pit bul was in a cage. It was doing most of the barking, but was harmless. They probably didn't want to hear it barking, and after shooting it made it yelp, they silenced it. It says they shot a Corgi. A F***ING CORGI? You've got to be kidding me. They are the size of a cat and the friendliest little things you could imagine. It's like shooting a poodle. If it had nipped their ankle they could punt it like a football without doing it serious harm. This is all just disgusting.

Especially since it notes under the YouTube video that he had an empty pipe with resin, and enough pot to maybe roll a joint. ALL THAT FOR A F***ING JOINT? I could understand if a rabid-looking pit bull or rotweiller was charging them full speed, yeah, shoot to defend yourself. This was not the case. Totally out of line. They all should be ashamed. That poor kid is probably traumatized for life. The biggest cause of this? This stupid war on drugs. Mexico becoming a war zone. Billions in potential tax revenue lost, millions who could be cured with mandatory rehab vs. jail.

On edit: They found a little weed. A little (Less than 2 ounces) and a pipe with resin. They killed a pit bull (who was caged in the kitchen) and a corgi.

that the United States' war on drugs causes more harm and damage than it does good. For the past few months I've been watching the HBO series 'The Wire' which highlights the ironic and almost comic attempts of police to try and enforce drug laws. Police should be protecting us from violent crimes, not people using drugs. Legalize them all and regulate it. Treatment rather than imprisonment.

Maybe they were trying to simulate a real drug raid, but since COPS was with them, they wanted to be sure that they hit a house that would not be dangerous. And the producers of COPS told them to fire their weapons to make it more dramatic.
