1. Cops caught lying because they didn't know there would be videotape evidence.

2. I like to think I would have done a football dive at the cops legs if I saw that
Maybe I'm doing a Walter Mitty, but that was egregious.

8. There will be an investigation and then they'll throw the book at them.
They'll get at LEAST a week's paid suspension.
And anyone that points out a vacation isn't much of a punishment will be called a cop hater.

10. cctv..... It's for ALL of us!
Closed circuit is all over London and we tend to talk about it's advantage in face recognition. This is one instance where resolution might have helped identify them.

Unbelievable that this shit still goes on...

11. If a cop ever hits you
Be sure to act unconscious and remain that way regardless of circumstances.

Get a good attorney and continue to act like you can't talk well. Slur words and present yourself as permanently incapacitated by the attack.

12. Here is ehat really goes on behind "the thin blue line"
http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/405/inside-job

The first story is great expose' on the economic crash but the undercover cop story (Pink Eraser to the Thin Blue Line) is about a bad-ass cop who changed his life and became an undercover whistleblower on bad cops. This goes right along with the latest incident in the news.

13. That is a reason why they're called pigs.
There will be an investigation. Then one stupid pig will get suspended. Then the student will sue. Then everything will be okay again.
There's more of a problem these days with the thugs they call cops. They are given way to much power over regular people. For one thing these cops are given jobs by cities across the country, they are not voted in like sheriffs, they come out of the military, all gungho and still think they're overseas, and ready to kill just fo fun. Something needs to be done.

16. That horse shied
That horse shied away when the police started beating the student. The horse never kicked anyone. We need more cameras in the US, not to watch the criminals but the police.

17. I have to ask - does a person become a cop to take out their rage?
Why? Is it their leadership. Are they explicity told they can do this? How does one cop know that the others are going to join him and not stop him? That seems to be a hint of permission from the top that it is OK.

Was the one who was thrown at the wall and then beaten a Latino or a Black American? Native American? Moslem?
