1. I just saw this movie again on Sunday
But I must admit I don't look at it for the sports or the speeches. I actually have this movie on dvd and when I feel like I need some encouragement i put it in the player. But its not for the speech. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

4. OK. I'm impressed. I could search for the name of the movie - but I'm going to
take a shortcut and ask you to tell me what it is.

6. Thanks. I've always liked Pacino. I recently saw The Insider and now I'm

learning more about Lowell Bergman.

(The Insider is about CBS, big money influences, and the tobacco ceo liars - if anyone doesn't know about it.)

Pacino does hero stuff from the heart.

I'll have to watch this movie. Looks like a great cast. Thanks for posting.

(Here's the wiki overview on Bergman

7. Many thanks. Going to see Al in July in NY at the Shakespeare
Festival. He will be doing his "Shylock" as only he can do...Thanks for that Bergman overview, very interesting guy and I also enjoyed that film. Al is filming right now in NY "No Mans Son"..I think that's the name of it, looking forward to it.

9. Also, "Insomnia"...I have that DVD and every time I watch it I cannot
get over the camera work and the most exquisite scenery of that area. Al suffers from insomnia anyway but I tell you by the end of the film I was exhausted because he played that so perfectly...exhausted.. Kudos also to Robin Williams, his was an Oscar-worthy performance.

11. Al played the part of a detective with a personal crime in his own
background. He and his fellow detective (who was suspicious of Al's guilt in a previous killing) went to Alaska to solve a crime up there. They arrived at the time of daylight all day and night. No darkness to aid sleep, black shades on the windows didn't help, etc. He became exhausted but still had work to do. Robin Williams was the suspect, a very creepy character that he played to the max. I don't want to ruin it for you, I'm sure the DVD is in your library and I always thought it was one of the best films of late that they both made. Hope you get to see it.
