If there is one thing Rachel Maddow is not, it is "emotional." It's one of the reasons I admire her above and beyond every other pundit out there.

...but none can touch the unctuous hypocrisy of "Doctor" Tom Coburn.

As a physician, I am deeply embarrassed by this grotesque clown.

We could argue about whether or not Rachel is ever "emotional," but there can be no dispute about the perfidy in Coburn's character. Every time the guy opens his moldy trap, Hippocrates and Galen both roll over in their graves.

Obviously anything he does to further the "unemployed people are lazy and don't deserve help" and "I'm rich and in power and I am so great" is his duty and mission from god himself.... as ministered by the C-street plutocracy.
