I guess that explains it to the loathsome douche-bags here who said "they must have been up to something shady" because the journalists were there.

Kalashnikovs were legal and common in 2007 Iraq.

Whwn watching the clip, none of the people looked armed, and certainly not dangerous!

Does anyone remember this from back when it happened? I have no recollection of ever hearing about it.
