From Nevada to Utah, and eventually Washington, D.C., the Tea Party movement is making its way across the country. Monday, the group made its first of three stops in Utah.

1. TP organizer: "It's about liberty versus tyranny."
And he said it with a straight face! Can you say "delusional"?

Thanks for the video.

2. I thought the same thing..
I thought "where were these 'concerned patriots' when Bush and the neo-con fascists lied us into war costing trillions? Where were these 'concerned patriots' when Bush and the GOPers gave hundred of billions to bail out failed capitalists?"

Not a word--not one fucking word!

I'm so fed up with these faux patriots.

6. Don't worry--as soon as we have our FEMA concentration camps
up and running, and the data from our census, we'll be able to round up and "re-educate" the lot of them!:evilgrin:

9. Taxed Enough Already Party....seriously?!?!?
What I find most offensive about these ignorant people is their totally blithe use of the acronym T.E.A. (Taxed Enough Already) when the vast majority of the people protesting actually received a goddamn tax CUT during the past year under Obama; and their overall bastardization of American history (trying to equate the Boston Tea Party protests to the current temper tantrums on the right).

For clarification to these nutjobs - taxation without representation is NOT the same as losing an election and not liking the results! Taxed Enough Already was dreamed up by the fucktard Koch brothers and their evil minions in the propaganda arm at AFP. They feel that they are over taxed, even though with creative accounting and shelters and capital gains rates they likely pay a lower percentage of their wealth in taxes than I or anyone else making less than a few million a year does!

I would also love to hear him refute this:

-----------------------------------------------

"We have come to a clear realization of the fact that true individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and independence. “Necessitous men are not free men.” People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.

In our day these economic truths have become accepted as self-evident. We have accepted, so to speak, a second Bill of Rights under which a new basis of security and prosperity can be established for all—regardless of station, race, or creed.

Among these are:

The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;
The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;
The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;
The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;
The right of every family to a decent home;
The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;
The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;
The right to a good education.

All of these rights spell security. And after this war is won we must be prepared to move forward, in the implementation of these rights, to new goals of human happiness and well-being. America’s own rightful place in the world depends in large part upon how fully these and similar rights have been carried into practice for our citizens."
--FDR

-----------------------------------------------

If what FDR was proposing had been fully implemented our society would be in a much stronger position today. And if that is "socialism", then sign me up and tell me when we can get to work on implementing ALL of it!

12. They don't get out beyond their own little world,
so they think "the will of the people" is that of the tea baggers. All they hear is Limbaugh and Beck; all they see is Fox. They ignore the rest of us, other than to put us down, and recently pull over our cars to ask about hopey- changey things.

What rights have these people lost?
