In the many responses I get to these videos, it appears that a number of people want to deny, or are not even aware, that there is a scientific foundation to the overwhelming consensus on climate change.

In fact, the science is built on thousands of publications and many decades of observation.

In this video we'll go over some of the fundamental discoveries, the
basic facts that we know beyond a doubt, about global warming.
Of course, many people will never believe science, because they believe that
anything that challenges their world view, is all part of a secret,
global conspiracy.

5. I've been battling climate change deniers lately

And they refuse to see Gore's film, let alone this. But that doesn't stop them from calling Gore all kinds of names and blindly smearing his inconvenient film.

8. Excellent summary of the evidence for man-made warming.

Too bad the other side won't listen or engage in intellectually honest debate. They just keep reiterating the same tired, unproven talking points. I see them all the time in just about every thread on global warming/climate change at DU. No matter how many times they are refuted, they come back with the same BS--other planets are warming, the sun is causing the warming, scientists once thought an ice age was coming, the CO2 lag behind temperature rises in ice core samples, ad nauseum... Arguing with the so-called "skeptics" on AGW seems futile at this point.
