she is an excellent example of a FEMALE politician/senator/leader with brains, guts, and a backbone!
I was surprised last year when I found out she had only been a senator for only two years (three years now) back when she was on TV a bunch during the democratic primary.

Would love to see her debate Palin on 'any' subject.

We need more of democratic females in Congress in the spotlight more often to show America what 'real women with brains' look like :)

In order for her to stay in office she needs to be re elected and that is difficult in Red States for D's. She cannot be a 100%'er in Missouri. If she is not with us on everything so be it. She is there for us on 90%.

McCaskill received a great deal of money and support from progressives trusting she was a real democrat. She won't get that kind of support next time around.

I haven't seen a state-by-state breakdown, but most Americans want single payer. Probably that means most Missourians want it. Supporting single payer could be a way for her to show her constituents what a D can do for them.
