And I'm torn between feeling his inner demons and his responsibility to not put his loved ones through this. I wonder sometimes with we progressives if our compassion and empathy for the troubles in the world doesn't eat us up inside. I only hope his death will have great meaning and accomplish some understanding that he couldn't make clear with his intent during his life. What a special, deep, intelligent, sensitive, human being the world has lost. I wish I had known him.
