1. Arrogant?

Mitch McConnell is a moron. Like it's not arrogant to try to dictate policy across the country FROM THE MINORITY. When will these guys figure out that they LOST in 2008? With good reason!

to start negotiations from. That's soooo strongly worded; Oh the humanity. Hope it does not offend the pugs too much; The shock and awe; The squealing to be endured.

And yet no mention of the public option; The one thing that would boost O's ratings through the roof and insure a Dem congress for another three, at least.

4. Just when Democrats were starting to grow a pair...

And pass the public option by reconciliation, along comes the White House to piss on them. No public option!
All of those folks who were calling Obama a socialist, or "the most liberal member of Congress", are foolish. Obama does not want the public option, and he will do everything in his power to kill it.

5. I knew there wouldn't be a PO. But there are gonna be a lot of P.O. voters if they don't get it.

I may be wrong, but my memory says that health care was the top thing that people were concerned with (well, depending on the poll I saw) in '08. We thought we were going to get a Universal plan, a Single Payer, or at the least - a smaller public plan run by the govt - and instead - well....

Do they (WH&Congress) think we're all gonna put energy into supporting them again with time & money when they won't get the biggest issue resolved? Obama & the Dem leaders sure took care of Industry quickly, screw off to the rest of us.
