His being out on the lam keeps a multi trillion dollar international market going strong: the war on terror. If the US and Pakestan don't know where he is, they don't want to know where he is. Osama on the loose makes for major redristribution of wealth - from the poorist to the wealthiest. Can you imagine a US rocket attack in say Canada?
