1. Spitzer was really great last night.
You'd almost think he was running for something. :)

5. Yup. He is still one of the best dems out there. He is so smart and so committed.
I can't wait to see him back either.

8. I'm starting to soften up to his getting back in

he did make a long, extended mistake when he was Governor - and it really irked me. But now the lesser-of-two-evils issue is making me rethink everything. But I am still wondering what his major goal is because knowing that might make it easier to understand.

12. +1 Down with the milquetoast, spineless, and kumbaya Dems
Fundamental change isn't going to come from cowards either. We didn't send President Obama to DC to ask Regressives for their permission to govern.

7. In a differing opinion
Eliot, shut up and go the fuck away.

I don't care about his hooker, I care about his hypocrisy. We already have plenty of politicians who practice that.

11. Why shoud he go away? Has Vitter, Ensign, Sandford?
Or Gingrich? People know what Edwards did to his wife, but they sure have forgotten what Newt did to his cancer striken wife.

Vitter had his sexcapdes with prostitutes, one who eventually committed suicide before she was set to testify. The GOP welcomed him back with open arms and applause.

As for the rest, including Larry Craig, all remained in office.

Didn't seem to bother the republican "family values" party or its voters.

It's unfortunate Spitzer didn't keep his pants zipped. He has accomplished a lot of good things, many people have not forgotten. He has a lot more important things to say then some of the "unzippered" politicans.

Far better to have a politican who screws around with women or men, then one who screws the country.

Spitzer is right about a lot of things and I hope he keeps speaking his mind. Hasn't seemed to stop republicans who have been involved in sex scandals.

13. I'd love to see them all go away
And it's not just the sex thing, Eliot Spitzer rode to political popularity from his "tough guy" stance on crime, he persecuted sex workers mercilessly.

I hold our side to a higher standard than the Repukes set for theirs, no matter what their so-called family values language.
