I don't know if I'll be able to forgive Bernie for giving me hope on this - if it is only dashed later.

1. I like Bernie Sanders and his ideas, I still wish they would open Medicare for everyone,
that's obviously the best, most logical, effective and moral solution. If they only pass a public option, it damn sure should be a strong one.

Kicked and recommended.

Thanks for the thread, ProfessorPlum

3. That's what I believe as well, Hissyspit, that's why Medicare for everyone never made it
to the table.

The game was rigged from the outset.

4. Yes, Bernie gives me hope too. Gotta hang onto it firmly when looking
at the repugs he's forced to work with in the senate. Really makes me think that if the dems really do go forward with good legislation on healthcare and energy and jobs, it would spiral the repugs right out of significant existence for the long term future. Our problem is with the money from large business interests that turns Democratic representatives inside out and they become all stupid again.

But I will hope! Bernie is one of the best.

And Rachel IS the best political analyst out there in the media. I'm so blown away by her smarts and her compassion.

7. I am so excited that this is even being talked about!!
I've said all along that people were upset that the public option was left out of the Senate version of HCR. If Dems can pull this off, it would be great. They would have the people's support and would be in great shape come November.
