(I apologize for not posting this video sooner, but YouTube flagged it when I used the word "Olympics" in the title.)

While D.C. digs itself out of its third blizzard in two months, the event schedule for the Vancouver Winter Games is thrown into disarray as events are rescheduled around slushy conditions due to 50' degree weather in North West Canada in February.

1. Yet, the wingers down here in FL are running around with spray cans
Edited on Tue Feb-16-10 09:02 AM by xultar
trying to cause global warming because they are cold.

If I here one more goddamned winger decry climate change because they are personally a little chilly I'm going to commit murder.

They act like winter was never cold.

5. Actually spray cans cause polar cooling.
Scientists figured out that the several-year cooling
anomaly in the polar region was due to aerosols which
increased the ozone hole.

Once aerosols were banned, the hole started to close
and warming continued to proceed apace there.

2. Note to Canada:
Thank you for sending us some snow down here in the Deep South. We would share with you, but for many of us, it was gone by the next morning. We don't know who has it now.

15. You see, that's why we don't let you have snow

I'll bet you let it melt, and didn't even notice where the white went.

3. But you won't here any of the right wing climate change
deniers site this fact while they run around proclaiming global warming / climate change a fraud because it's cold where they are. They can't let something as trivial as facts and science get in the way of what they've been told they believe.

6. That is a global warming hoax (sarcasm)
Everyone knows that the Winter Olympics are doing just fine. Snow, schmoe ... There is plenty of snow. Just come to Washington DC. Besides, it is apparently cold enough for ice skating. What about that, huh? And curling, though that really doesn't matter because its not, after all, a genuine red blooded American (as in USA - the REAL Americans) sport. :sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

14. No offense, but you guys don't know what you're talking about. Vancouver has a mild climate, and
usually gets a lot of rain in the winter.

"In contrast, the rest of the year is rainy, especially between October and March"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vancouver#Climate

The reason why its hosting the winter olympics is because the events held in the city are indoors, and the events held outside are in the mountains to the north, which have a colder climate.

Once again people, weather is not climate.
