9. Oh, we all Know the Nobel Committee is in on the conspiracy
You'll have to do better than a bunch of scientists all agreeing with each other so they can get more research grants!

10. Yeah, well, science is unpatriotic.
Red-blooded Americans plump for creationism and climate change denial!

14. Science comes straight from the BOWELS OF HELL!
The religionists have gotten it right time after time throughout history!

And their treatment of ideas that differ from their own is SANE! Very, very SANE!

;)

11. I wonder where these idiots were in 2004 when 4 hurricanes and a T.S hit Florida.
Because, you know, WARM WATER makes it easier for a storm to strengthen or stay together.

12. I am always amazed at the deniers of Climate Change...
Edited on Fri Feb-12-10 07:14 AM by rasputin1952
it's as if they have absolutely no comprension skills what-so-ever.

Here's a pic from Nasa showing the atmosphere of earth:

Thin Blue Line

The thin line of Earth's atmosphere and the setting sun are featured in this image photographed by the crew of the International Space Station while space shuttle Atlantis on the STS-129 mission was docked with the station.

That's it, that is what sustains life on earth. What we see and feel on earth makes it seem like the atmosphere is much larger than what it really is. It is a small envelope that keeps this planet humming along.

One of the things Climate Change deniers never mention, is that for all of their decrying the science as "natural change", the exponential aspect of human activity is never taken into account. If 5 million tons are spewed into the atmosphere by say, a volcanic eruption, it is added to what humans have tossed into the atmosphere, say another 5 million tons...to add up to 10 million tons, (these are just "out of the hat" numbers, obviously we are talking 10s of billions of tons of pollutants, both natural and man made). But the point is, they never use the proper equations when they present their side of the situation.

These idiots would kill the planet, for an ideology that has no basis in fact. It is a murder/suicide pact...just to deny that Climate Change even might be fact.

13. Irony
Edited on Fri Feb-12-10 07:31 AM by lefty2000
Irony (from the Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία eirōneía, meaning hypocrisy, deception, or feigned ignorance) is a literary or rhetorical device . (wikipedia)

They know better, but they pretend not to.

15. Nothing is as scary as hearing repug senators repeat this crap
So called leaders that are that stupid.

The downfall of the soviet system was it's denial of science (wheat production). We are in great danger from these idiots.

16. As much as I love the guy, I wish
Rachel had called in a climatologist as her guest.
Nye's comic image is terrific for getting kids excited about science; but I feel that if they're going to address climate change on a news show, they should interview a scientist who specializes in that area.
