A spokesman says Democratic Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania, a retired Marine Corps officer who became an outspoken critic of the Iraq war, has died. He was 77. (Feb. 8)

8. That he did not!

He always told it as it is, despite attempts by misguided "journalists" to twist his words. I remember one particular CNN interview when he refused to back down in the face of hostile attempts to put words in his mouth. Haven't found it yet, but did find this video, prescient words from 2006... :patriot:
