Oh hell, someone is going to post it eventually. Sometimes you just have to throw up and get it all out. So, to that end...
Sarah's teabagging keynote talk avoids giving specifics while attacking current administration actions to pull the country out of the ditch. Jumping from the usual 'weak, librul' attacks to engagins in a smattering of mild support of Obama's efforts to reign in spending and Afghanistan, it was obvious the speech was an attempt to play herself as a middle of the road right winger, all the while giving the high pitched whistles to her teabagging crowd that they jumped to their feet to applaud throughout.
She gets some digs in, from promises for transparency and the like, but fails to really bring the house down with her generic pseudo-campaign ideas and platitudes of 'freedom', 'the people' and the rest of the usual tea bag fare. Overall, nothing to see here. But always good to judge for yourself as it'll be rehashed and reviewed to death ahead of the Superbowl - a really bad time for their convention. Talk about losing the wind from your sails the very next day with the biggest sporting event of the year!
