2. it's not the things Chomsky says that I disagree with that bother me. It's the things Chomsky says
that I know that are true but wish were not.

6. It is a Corporate Representative Republic
I think what some have failed to see is that it is more now than just a few rich white dudes calling the shots these days. You have numerous companies out there with much more lobbying power and wealth than those few rich white dudes. The Corporations run the show now.

Just look at how legislation is drafted now and who legislators are listening to. Things like insurance mandates don't get brought up because constituents are begging for them. They are put in the legislation by the Health Insurance companies.
