GRAYSON: "Well, look. People have compared him to me, but there is no moral equivalence between telling the truth and telling a lie. I said, I exposed the fact that the Republicans don't have a health care plan. That all they do is they complain, they carp about the Democrat's efforts to solve one of the fundamental problems this country is facing. They're the 'Party of No,' that's all that they are.

So I stand by what I said. I don't know how he can stand by what he said. I think that he's part of a right-wing in America that basically consists of two parts: the right-wing consists of the liars and the gullible. They generate the lies and the gullible just soak them up. And it's a symbiotic relationship that he's feeding into."

6. I really have come to like Grayson!

Its really impressive to see a Democrat unafraid to go on the attack! Republican congress-people seem to have no fear of claiming Obama is like Hitler or worse. I don't like that whoever seems to scream the loudest gets covered, but if that's the game, I want our guys to win it. Other Democrats need to follow Grayson's lead and be unafraid to call out Republicans for their lies and failures.

11. The GOP has learned the beauty of lying...

As an example, let's say I tell a lie about you. You in turn have really only two options:
a) acknowledge the accusation and attempt to defend or distance yourself from such lies. Or
b) ignore such attacks and forge ahead as though nothing was said.

The beauty is that there are flaws in both approaches. If you choose the first option, you waste valuable time defending yourself, when you should/could be articulating your 'positives' and why people should be voting for you rather than against you. And if you choose the second option you still lose, as your opponents will take your silence on the accusation as an acknowledgment of the truth behind the lie... as in, "Well, he didn't say that he didn't kill children and puppies.. therefore he must kill children and puppies.

I've been trying to figure out a way around this, but as long as GOP voters are ignorant and gullible, while the GOP candidates have no morals or values, lying about their competition will continue to be a win-win for the GOP.
